The first Byron Hot Springs hotel was erected in the 1899, but burned down in 1901. The hotel was rebuilt on the property around 1901; however, that building also burned down in 1912. Finally, a third hotel was built in 1913, and though the estate still stands it has been abandoned since the late 1940s. As of 2009, plans were in process
