The exterior is dyed in a classic Sumpftarnmuster (marsh water pattern) camouflage with a mottle consisting of a primarily light brown base overlaid by irregular splotches of dark green and brown, overlaid by green splinters, with extensive fading giving the brown patches a pink or rust coloured appearance.
