Metamòrfic Carenyena Amphorae 2017 Organic Certified Wines The “Schlicht und Ergreifend” WeissburgunderThe Metamrfic from Costador is a 100% Carignan. The whole process of fermentation, fining and ageing happened in amphoras, resulting in a beautiful, complex red that tastes like a 10 15 year old wine despite the vintage. Forest floor and blackberry in the nose, a delicious forest berries compote in the palate combined with leather, pepper and cloves. Earthy yet fruity with a great balanced between tannins and acidity. Simply amazing!
