Of local manufacture, a black enamelled Maltese cross in silver gilt, with obverse centre presenting a silver Estonian Eagle clutching a sword and a blue enamelled Estonian coat of arms, reverse centre with institution date of 24 II 1928, with motto Pro Patria (For Fatherland) splitting on arms, measuring 53. 92 mm (w) x 54. 37 mm (h), with elongated ornate
