1937 Virgin Mary Chartres Cathedral Romanesque Artwork - ORIGINAL CH2 VF1 a product by The HaloidThis is an original 1937 photogravure of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres (Cathdrale Notre Dame de Chartres) in France (Rpublique Francaise). Seen in the photogravure is the detailing of a crowned sculpture from the building. The cathedral has survived several wars, and although the lead roof was taken off to make bullets, the architecture has only seen minor changes. The stained glass windows are mostly original. The building is considered a
