Germany, Luftwaffe. A Ground Assault Badge Hold each of which is hinged(Erdkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe). Constructed of feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central stylized lightning bolt emanating from a cloud and striking the ground, overlaid by a silvered Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a single visible rivet securing the obverse eagle in place, with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire
